Principal's Message

Dear Ambuehl Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Ambuehl Elementary! As we begin the 2026-27 school year, we are excited to embrace our garden theme, “Growing Together, Learning Together,” as we focus on creating the conditions for every student to learn, grow, and succeed.

At Ambuehl, we believe every child has the potential to thrive. Just as a garden flourishes when it has strong roots, thoughtful care, and the right conditions for growth, our students are most successful when they feel safe, connected, challenged, and supported. Our dedicated staff is committed to knowing each student, recognizing their individual strengths and needs, and providing meaningful learning experiences that help them reach their full potential.

Student success is at the heart of everything we do. This year, we will continue to focus on high-quality instruction, student growth, and ensuring that every child receives the support and opportunities they need to succeed. We will use student learning and progress to guide our instruction, celebrate growth along the way, and work together to help every student build strong academic and social-emotional foundations.

We also know that some of the most important growth happens through the relationships we cultivate each day. A warm greeting in the morning, meaningful feedback during a lesson, an encouraging conversation, or taking the time to truly listen can make a lasting difference. Every interaction is an opportunity to help our students feel valued, capable, and confident in themselves as learners.

Our families are an essential part of our Ambuehl garden. Through a strong partnership between school and home, we create a community where students can truly flourish. Thank you for your partnership, trust, and continued support as we nurture a school community rooted in belonging, learning, and success.

We look forward to watching our students grow, bloom, and thrive throughout the year. Together, we can make 2026-27 a year of meaningful learning, joyful moments, and success for every Ambuehl student.

Warmly,
Mrs. McManigal
